2. Protection of an individual’s personal data
In accordance with Article 13 GDPR, Gastroglanz GmbH informs users on data processing and its legal foundation. This involves the contractual relationship and approval.
Only personal data which is required for contract fulfilment and completion is collected as well as data which is provided voluntarily.
Gastroglanz GmbH processes your personal data in accordance with the GDPR on the basis of laws, the contract or your permission.
3. Type of processed data
The only personal data which we process is that which you have provided us with for the contractual or pre-contractual relationship (e.g. orders) – this includes, for example, your surname, address, e-mail, telephone number, date of birth. We also save all the data of our communication such as order history, your enquiries, contracts, ordered services etc.
4. Purpose and legal basis of processing
When contacting us via our website, sending an enquiry or placing an order, registering for our newsletter or using our services in any other way, any data provided by you in a form is saved. If an enquiry or order is cancelled, data is also saved.
We process your personal data to fulfil our pre-contractual obligations such as responding to your queries, fulfilling the contract and associated services such as orders and the provision of services as well as the fulfilment of our legal oblations.
The legal basis for the data processing is therefore the contract or pre-contractual relationship as well as Austrian law in so far as this involves legal obligations to store data. If processing is not required for contractual purposes it will occur based on your agreement.
5. Newsletter and advertising mailing
If you have given permission for this, your data will also be used for advertising and information purposes for example for the sending of newsletters and offers or invitations to enter competitions. You may cancel this at any time by sending us an e-mail and we will then delete your e-mail address from our newsletter system.
6. Data retention
Your data will only be saved until the fulfilment of the above-mentioned purpose for as long as this is required for legal data retention obligations or for the safeguarding of legitimate interests such as the defence of damage claims.
Furthermore, your data is only stored until your permission is revoked with your agreement. Even with your agreement we are not obliged to store the data long-term and can therefore delete your data at any time.
7. Forwarding of data
Your data is only forwarded to third parties, particularly external service providers such as IT companies, accountants or bookkeepers, if required for contract fulfilment or pre-contractual measures. Data may also be forwarded to lawyers or authorities if this is required for the safeguarding of our legitimate interests.
Contract worker agreements in the context of Article 28 GDPR are finalised with service providers.
Data forwarding and storage occurs by means of the servers of our IT providers and payment service providers in the EU / EEA. Data is not forwarded to third countries.
8. Data security
We take appropriate precautions and technical and organisational measures corresponding to the latest technology for the protection of your personal data.
However, despite our efforts, it is still possible that information which you have sent us via the internet or other telecommunication networks may be seen and used by others. We cannot assume liability for such an unauthorised use of your data by third parties.
9. Your rights
As the individual concerned you have the right to request information on your stored personal data, its origin and recipient and the purpose of data processing at any time. You are also entitled to the correction, data transmission, cancellation, restriction of processing as well as blocking or deletion of incorrectly / illegitimately processed data. You may revoke permission given for the use of your personal data at any time.
Your request can be fulfilled as long as this is not contrary to any laws, agreements or authorised interests of those responsible.
Please inform us if your personal details change. Requests concerning information, deletion, correction, objection and / or data forwarding, the latter in so far as this does not involve excess additional work or costs, can be sent to the above address of the person responsible.
If you think that we have not processed your data in accordance with current data protection laws or that your that protection rights have been infringed in any other way, please notify us so that we can investigate this further. You can also lodge a complaint with the relevant controlling authority – in Austria this is the Data Protection Authority.

10.4. AdWords Remarketing
The provider uses the Google Inc. (“Google”) remarketing or “Similar target groups” function on the website. This enables the provider to address website users with advertising suited to them by displaying personalised, interest-related advertising to the website user when he visits other websites in the Google Display network. Google uses cookies for the analysis of website use which forms the basis for creating interest-related advertising. For this, Google stores a small file with a numerical sequence in the website user’s browser. Website visits as well as anonymised data on the use of the website are recorded via this number. The website user’s personal data is not saved.
